At the injection molding, the charactaristic shapes enables the hook to be forced extraction. No matter how small or narrow, it is able to be molded. It is ‘the third connecting tool’ next to Velcro (hook and loop fastener) and the magnet. And this technology is contributable to development of new products, quality improvement, improvement of technical ability and product development ability, improvement of high-cost structure, increasing customer satisfaction, increasing profitability, and energy-saving measures (contributing to SDGs).

We designed a coupling (pipe joint) using the “K1-HOOK” to demonstrate that the patented shape can be “forced extract” in the injection molding process.
We made a mold for demonstration.(See fractured surface.) As shown in the video, it can attach and detach many times with no damage on the hook.
It can be easily removed by gently folding and pulling away after shifting the lock ring.
The product has been built to meet a level where it can be used as a product under water supply pressure.
The inner diameter can be any size from a few millimeters to meter class.
The shape is not limited to a circle. It can be square or oval.「It can be applied not only to “fluid” couplings, but also to a bar-type attachment/removal, string or rope attachment/removal, and odd-shaped ducts.
The coupling in the video is designed with a safety factor of 1.5 or higher at the HOOK.When frequent connection and disconnection is not required but “connection strength” is important, a strong connection can be made by designing with a safety factor of 1 or less.
However, the service life will be lower. If the durability test results are within the range of life expectancy required for the product, it can be used without problems.
